A Bit About Me

Recently, I was dubbed "the equivalent of a human exclamation point" by some colleagues. I bring energy, authenticity, and a range of talents to everything I do. I'm the person who can't help but go the extra mile—not because I have to, but because I genuinely care about the work and the people I'm working with.

I've also been told that I give off "older sister meets newsroom editor" vibes. I will hype you up, take your headshot, tell you to fix the passive voice in your writing, encourage you to go out there and simply always try your best, and then I'll cry at the celebration because we've all done something difficult together and I'm so proud of what we've accomplished.

I'm genuinely curious about the world. I care about education and the planet and public health and equity. I'm fascinated by history and anthropology. I'm interested in whatever the heck is happening with AI, and I love a good book or a good conversation on a podcast. That curiosity is what makes me good at what I do—I ask questions, I connect dots, and I find the story that matters.

My range of skills isn't a bug, it's a feature. I can write the script, shoot the video, design the layout, coach the team, and manage the timeline. I've done all of those things, often at the same time, and I'm energized by work that asks me to wear multiple hats and figure things out as I go.

What I'm looking for next is a role where I can bring my full self—my wit, my creativity, my heart—to work that matters. If that sounds like someone you want on your team, let's talk.
